    PPE
What to do: Wear protective equipment, such as goggles or safety glasses, gloves.
Why: To protect yourself from chemical contact.
Reason: To reduce the risk of having an adverse reaction to chemical that one has come into contact with.

    Pre Clean
What to do: Dust mop and wash floor with either a mop or auto scrubber.
Why: So you do not spray buff the dirt into the floor.
Reason: The dirt will swirl into the floor if the floor is not prepared properly.

    Pad
What to do: Use the proper color pad. If you are unsure ask your supplier.
Why: The frequency of your maintenance program will decide what color pads to use.
Reason: The improper pad can severely scratch your floor.

    Spray
What to do: Spray a squirt to a squirt and a half of desired spray buff onto floor.
Why: A light squirt of spray buff will easily be buffed into the floor without much effort.
Reason: Too much buff on the floor will cause it to be dull.

    Buff
What to do: Buff the floor until it shines. When the machine feels like it is ‘dragging’ reapply the spray buff.
Why: The spray buff will fill minor scratches in the finish.
Reason: The heat from the pad will cause the spray buff to heat up and bond to the floor to repair worn areas and to shine the floor.

    Check Pad
What to do: Flip pad when clogged, or get a new pad.
Why: Pads will hold the spray buff thus reducing the effectiveness of the pad.
Reason: Clean pads that aren’t clogged will allow for a more productive and thorough job in buffing the floors.

    Clean Up
What to do: Rinse and wash all equipment.
Why: So the equipment will be clean and uncontaminated for the next use.
Reason: Clean equipment represents the people that use it.
